Imbuto Foundation was born in 2001, through a single project: PACFA, or the Protection of Families Under HIV and AIDS. Since providing the Family Package, Imbuto Foundation has come a long way, diversifying its approaches to community support in 2007. Now, Imbuto Foundation offers 8 flagship programmes in the fields of Health, Education and Youth Empowerment. This three-pronged structure serves to maximise the direct impact of our interventions on families and communities. Under the guidance of Her Excellency Mrs Jeannette Kagame and with the support of valuable partners, Imbuto Foundation strives for a population of Educated, Empowered and Engaged Rwandans.

The Imbuto Foundation blog will keep you updated on all things Imbuto, but also knowledge we have gathered from working closely with Community-Based Organisations and the population itself, in a number of projects and campaigns aimed at welfare improvement consistent with Rwanda’s National Strategy for Transformation.
